Director Sandeep JL's action thriller The Great Escape, starring Babu Antony and son Arthur Babu Antony, will hit Kerala theatres on May 26. Also starring wrestler and actor Chaz Taylor, the film also features Hollywood actor Rock Williams, Tamil actor Sampath Ram, Babu Antony's wife Evgenia and his younger son Alex Antony aside from actors from Hollywood and Thailand.  

Backed by the banner South Indian US Films, The Great Escape was shot entirely in the U.S. With a script by Yadhukrishnan, the film has Kendinh as the director of photography and Jaya Krishna as the editor.

The makers will also release the film in Tamil.  

Aside from directing, Sandeep JL is credited as the stunt co-ordinator and fight choreographer. Kaizad Patel and Firoze Patel wrote the background score. Renjith Unni composed the music, with vocals by Sunidhi Chauhan (Malayalam) and MM Manasi (Tamil).
