Pre-production works for Empuraan are progressing in full swing as the makers plan to go on floors soon. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal as the lead, it is the second part of the 2019-released blockbuster Lucifer. It seems like most of the team members from Lucifer are retained for Empuraan. It includes cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, music director Deepak Dev and art director Mohandas. The latest to join the crew is Stunt Silva, who choreographed the stunts in Lucifer as well. On Thursday, Sujith Vaassudev shared a photo taken with Silva on social media, and wrote, 'Empuraan teaming up'.

The makers of Empuraan have been involved in extensive pre-production work for the last few months. It included location scouting across various states in India and a few foreign countries. Reportedly, Aashirvad Cinemas is collaborating with Hombale Films for this big-budget film's production.
