VK Prakash's Live, starring Mamta Mohandas, Priya Varrier, Shine Tom Chako, and Soubin Shahir, was supposed to hit screens on May 12. However, the makers have postponed the release to May 26. The exact reason for the last-minute postponement hasn't been divulged yet.

Scripted by S Sureshbabu, Live is a social thriller that's aimed as a critique of the TRP-hungry journalism. It is VK Prakash's second collaboration with Sureshbabu after Oruthee.

Live has Mamta as a doctor, while Shine Tom Chacko plays the chief editor of a news channel. Krishna Prabha, Reshmi Soman, Mukundan, Jayaraj Kozhikode, and Akksita also star in the film. Its technical crew includes Nikhil S Praveen as the cinematographer, composer Alphons Joseph and editor Sunil S Pillai.
