Vasantha Panchami song from Neelavelicham out

The makers of Neelavelicham released the video song Vasantha Panchami on Monday. Neelavelicham is the remake of 1964 film  Bhargavi Nilayam.  It has Vaikom Muhammad Basheer's screenplay based on his short story, Neelavelicham. The song is a reprised version of the original song composed by M S Baburaj with lyrics by P Bhaskaran. K S Chithra has sung the latest version and features orchestra arrangements by Bijibal and Rex Vijayan.

Besides Vaikom Muhammad Basheer's screenplay, Neelavelicham has an additional screenplay written by Hrishikesh Bhaskaran. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Gireesh Gangadharan and editor Saiju Sreedharan. Neelavelicham is produced by Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal under the OPM Cinemas banner. The film stars an ensemble cast, including Tovino Thomas, Rima Kallingal, Roshan Mathew, Shine Tom Chacko, Rajesh Madhavan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Pramod Veliyanad.

Neelavelicham was released in theatres on April 20 and opened to mixed reviews. CE's review of the film reads, "Aashiq and cinematographer Girish Gangadharan (Angamaly Diaries, Vikram) manage to get the best out of the scenarios spawned by Basheer's imagination on an anamorphic canvas."
