Aashiq Abu's Neelavelicham to release a day before

Aashiq Abu's Neelavelicham was initially scheduled to hit the theatres on April 21 but has now been brought forward to April 20. The makers announced the news through social media on Sunday. 

Neelavelicham is the official remake of 1964 film Bhargavi Nilayam. It has Vaikom Muhammad Basheer's screenplay based on his short story, Neelavelicham, and Hrishikesh Bhaskaran has penned the additional screenplay.

The principal cast of Neelavelicham comprises Rima Kallingal, Tovino Thomas, Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko. Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal are bankrolling the film under the banner of OPM Cinemas, and it has music composed by Bijibal and Rex Vijayan. 

The technical crew of Neelavelicham includes cinematographer Gireesh Gangadharan behind the camera, and Saiju Sreedharan handles editing. 

Neelavelicham also stars Chemban Vinod Jose, James Eliya, Jayaraj Kozhikode, Uma KP, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Ranji Kankol, and Jithin Puthenchery.
