The first single from Asif Ali's upcoming film Kasargold will be out on Thursday. The film marks the actor's reunion with director Mridul Nair after the success of B Tech. Sunny Wayne, Vinayakan, Deepak Parambol, and Malavika Sreenath also play prominent roles in the upcoming film.

According to the makers, Kasargold is an action thriller that revolves around gold smuggling. It is centered around a bunch of friends and how greed changes the dynamics of their bonding. Director Mridul has penned the story while also collaborating with Malayankunju director Sajimon Prabhakar for the screenplay and dialogues. It has songs composed by Vishnu Vijay and Niranj Suresh. The former alone is handling the background score. Jebin Jacob is the cinematographer and edits are done by Manoj Kannoth.
