After two months from its theatre release, Antony Varghese-starrer Poovan is set to stream on OTT. The film will be available on Zee5 from this Friday. Directed by debutant Vineeth Vasudevan and scripted by Varun Dhara, Poovan is a fun entertainer centered around Antony's character Hari and a rooster. Hari suffers from insomnia, and as he tries to deal with the condition, a rooster in the neighbourhood only adds to his troubles.

Poovan also stars Sajin Cherukayil, Vineeth Vishwam, Girish AD, Maniyanpilla Raju, Rinku Ranadeer, Anishma Anilkumar, Akhila Bhargavan, Bindhu Sati, and Sunil Melepuram. The film has Sajith Purushan as the cinematographer and Akash Joseph Varghese as the editor. Rorschach-fame Midhun Mukundan is the composer for the film, which is backed by Shebin Backer and Super Sharanya director Girish AD under the banners of Shebin Backer Productions and Stuck Cows.
