Arjun Ashokan, who has had a slew of releases in the last couple of months, has started working on a new film titled Theepori Benny. It is written and directed by the filmmaker duo Raajesh Mohan and Joji Thomas. The latter has earlier scripted films like Vellimoonga and Johny Johny Yes Appa.

Shebin Backer is producing Theepori Benny, which got launched on Friday. It has Minnal Murali-fame Femina George as the female lead. Interestingly, the project was first announced with Aparna Das as the heroine. Indrans was supposed to play a prominent role in it, but he has now been replaced by Jagadish.

Theepori Benny has Ajay Francis George as the cinematographer and Sreerag Saji as the music director. Editor Sooraj ES, production designer Midhun Chalissery, and costume designer Femina Jabbar are also part of the crew.

Arjun Ashokan was last seen in Thuramukham, in which he played one of the leads. He also essayed major characters in the two recent hits, Romancham and Pranaya Vilasam.
