The Malayalam film, Thrishanku starring Anna Ben and Arjun Ashokan in the lead roles, started streaming on Netflix. The film, which got released in theatres on May 26, is directed by Achyuth Vinayak. 

Apart from the leading duo, the Thrishanku also stars Suresh Krishna, Nandhu, Krishna Kumar, Balaji Mohan, Siva Hariharan, Zarin Shihab, and Fahim Safar in prominent roles. 

Regarded as a road-trip comedy, Thrishanku opened to a widely- positive reception, " It maintains a light tone throughout while not having any lofty aspirations. It's light, escapist entertainment, pure and simple," reads the CE review of the film. 

Written by director Achyuth and Ajith Nair, the film marks the maiden venture of Matchbox Shots in Malayalam cinema. Mentored by acclaimed filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, the banner previously produced films like Andhadhun and Monica, O My Darling. Matchbox Shots is backing Thrishanku in collaboration with Lacuna Pictures and Clocktower Pictures & Co.

Thrishanku's technical team comprises Ayesh Mohan and Ajmal Sabu as the cinematographers, Rakesh Cherumadam as the editor and Jay Unnithan as the music composer.
