Prithviraj Sukumaran pens a note on Prashanth Neel's birthday

The actor is collaborating with the filmmaker for the upcoming film Salaar

Sunday marked the 43rd birthday of the KGF helmer Prashant Neel. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is collaborating with the filmmaker for the upcoming film Salaar has penned a note on his Instagram wishing Prashant on his birthday. 

Prithviraj wrote, "Happy birthday Prashanth! There is so little of you the world has seen till now..and I know the year ahead will be a teaser of what is to follow! It's been an absolute privilege to be working with you..and I cannot wait for what is ahead." 

Actor Prabhas plays the titular role in Salaar. Besides Prithviraj, the film stars an ensemble cast, including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, and Madhu Guruswamy in prominent roles.

Backed by Hombale Films, the production house behind the KGF films and the recently released Kantara, Salaar has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and music composed by Ravi Basrur.

Salaar is scheduled for a theatrical release on 28 September 2023 in Telugu, along with dubbed versions of Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Prithviraj has various films lined up in different stages of production, including Guruvayur Ambala Nadayil, helmed by Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey director Vipin Das, Blessy's Aadujeevitham, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, along with Akshay Kumar. Apart from acting commitments, he also engaged in the pre-production stage of his upcoming directorial Empuraan, starring Mohanlal.
