The trailer of Lena-starrer Article 21 dropped on Saturday. The Lenin Balakrishnan directorial promises a hard-hitting tale of survival. Going by the trailer, it looks like a socially relevant film about the underprivileged. The film's title also hints at the same. Article 21 of the Indian constitution states, "No person shall be deprived of his life or personal liberty except according to procedure established by law.”

Lena, in an almost unrecognisable look, plays a Tamil rag picker named Thamarai. Besides Lena, the film also stars child artistes Nandan Rajesh and Leswin, Joju George and Aju Varghese in prominent roles. It is produced by Joseph Dhanoop and Praseena under the banner of Walk With Cinema. Ashkar is the director of photography and Sandeep Nandakumar, the editor. The music is by Gopi Sundar with sound design by Ranganath Ravee.

The makers have confirmed July 28 as the release date.
