The trailer of Kurukkan, the upcoming film starring Srinivasan and Vineeth Srinivasan, was released recently. 

The film has Sreenivasan playing the role of Krishan who is known for turning up as a false witness in court cases. Vineeth plays a cop who leaves no stone unturned to crack the case. Shine Tom Chacko plays a journalist. 

It is directed by Jayalal Divakaran and produced by Maha Subair under the banner of Varnachithra Productions. Kurukkan marks the comeback of veteran Sreenivasan, who has been battling health issues lately. He previously acted with Vineeth in films like Makante Achan and Padmasree Bharat Dr Saroj Kumar. They last acted together in Aravindante Athidhikal (2018).

Kurukkan is scripted by Manoj Ram Singh. Shruthi Jayan, Sudheer Karamana, Malavika Menon, Ansiba Hassan, Gowri Nanda, Srikant Murali, Balaji Sharma and Azeez Nedumangad are part of the cast. The film has cinematography by Jibu Jacob, music by Unni Elayaraja and edits handled by Ranjan Abraham.
