Actor-filmmaker Roopesh Peethambaran is set to begin work on his next directorial shortly. In a social media post, he confirmed that the official announcement will be made by the end of July.

Roopesh, best known for playing the younger version of Aadu Thoma in the Mohanlal-starrer Spadikam, has also directed two films, Theevram and You Too Brutus. While Theevram is a revenge thriller starring Dulquer Salmaan, You Too Brutus is a comedy entertainer starring Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas, Honey Rose and Sreenivasan.

Roopesh also acted in films like Oru Mexican Aparatha and  Kunjeldho.
