Kunchacko Boban's Padmini gets a new release date

The film was originally slated to hit screens last Friday

Kunchacko Boban's Padminiwhich was supposed to release on July 7, but got postponed due to heavy rains in Kerala, will now hit screens on July 14. Dileep's Voice of Sathyanathan is the other big release this week.

Padmini, directed by Senna Hegde, has Kunchako Boban playing a college professor's role. Madonna Sebastian, Aparna Balamurali and Vincy Aloshious play the female leads, while the supporting cast includes Althaf Salim, Sajin Cherukayil, Ganapathi, Anand Manmadhan, Seema G Nair, Gokulan, and James Elia.

Padmini is scripted by Kunjiramayanam-fame Deepu Pradeep. Sreeraj Raveendran, who shot Senna's last two films, Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam and 1744 White Alto, is the cinematographer, and Manu Antony handles the editing. It is produced by Prasobh Krishna and Suvin K Varkey under the banner of Little Big Films.
