Pranitha Subhash debuts in Malayalam with Dileep's next

The formal launch event of Dileep's new film was held on Friday in Kochi. Tentatively titled D 148, it is written and directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan of Udal fame. The project is backed by Super Good Films and Iffaar Media. On the launch day, the makers introduced the film's cast and crew. Pranitha Subhash has been signed as one of the female leads along with Neeta Pillai. Pranitha, who predominantly appears in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil films, is making her Malayalam debut with D 148.

Almost all the main cast and crew members attended the launch event. Tamil actor Jiiva, whose father RB Choudary heads Super Good Films, also took part in the function. Manoj K Jayan, Ajmal Ameer, Shine Tom Chacko, Siddique, John Vijay, Sampath, Kottayam Ramesh, and Major Ravi are the others in the cast. Manoj Pillai is the cinematographer, and Willaim Francis is the composer. 

Meanwhile, Dileep has a few other projects lined up. He was last seen shooting for Bandra, directed by Ramaleela-fame Arun Gopy. Scripted by Uday Krishna, it is a mass entertainer set in the backdrop of the Mumbai underworld. The actor also has Raffi's Voice of Sathyanathan awaiting release. Joshiy's On Air Eapen and Parakkum Pappan, a superhero film with Viyaan Vishnu, are his other upcoming projects.
