We had recently reported about Dileep collaborating with Udal director Ratheesh Reghunandan for his next. Tentatively titled D 148, the project is backed by RB Choudary's Super Good Films and Iffaar Media. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Neeta Pillai has been signed as the female lead. The actor is noted for her impressive performances in films like Poomaram, The Kung Fu Master, and Paappan

D 148, rumoured to be titled Thankamani, is said to be a crime drama. The makers are planning to launch the film on January 27 with a customary switch-on ceremony. An official announcement regarding its cast and crew members will be made on the launch day.

Dileep is currently shooting for Bandra, directed by Ramaleela-fame director Arun Gopy. Scripted by Uday Krishna, it is a mass entertainer set in the backdrop of the Mumbai underworld. The actor also has Raffi's Voice of Sathyanathan awaiting release. Joshiy's On Air Eapen and Parakkum Pappan, a superhero film with Viyaan Vishnu, are his other upcoming projects.
