MA Nishad has roped in Mukesh, Urvashi, Dhyan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Durga Krishna to star in his upcoming directorial, Iyer Kanda Dubai. Billed as a fun entertainer, the film is backed by Vignesh Vijayakumar under the banner of Wealth i Productions.

MA Nishad, a familiar face in news channel debates, has helmed films like Vairam, Best of Luck, and No. 66 Madhura Bus. His 2018 film Kinar, a bilingual (Keni in Tamil) starring Jaya Prada and Revathi as the leads, won the Kerala State Award for Best Story. He last directed Thelivu in which Asha Sharath, Lal and Nedumudi Venu played the main roles.

Nishad's upcoming film Iyer Kanda Dubai has music by Anand Madusoodanan, edits by John Kutty and cinematography by Siddharth Ramaswamy.
