Malavika Mohanan-Mathew Thomas film Christy set for February release

The film is directed by debutant Alvin Henry, and has a screenplay by acclaimed Malayalam authors Benyamin and G Indugopan

We had reported earlier about Malavika Mohanan and Mathew Thomas headlining Alvin Henry's Christy. The makers have confirmed that the film will hit screens in February.

Christy is based on a story by Alvin Henry, and has a screenplay by acclaimed Malayalam authors Benyamin and G Indugopan. Set against the backdrop of Poovar, a coastal village in Thiruvananthapuram, the film revolves around ordinary residents' lives. It marks Malavika Mohanan's return to Malayalam after Pattam Pole and The Great Father.

The other cast members include Joy Mathew, Vineeth Viswam, Rajesh Madhavan, Muthumani, and Veena Nair. Anend C Chandran (Premam, Bheeshma Parvam) is the director of photography, and Manu Antony handles the editing. Govind Vasantha is the composer. 

The film is produced by Sajai Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan under the banner of Rocky Mountain Cinemas
