We had earlier reported about Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup starring in Aneesh Upasana's (Matinee, Seconds, Popcorn) next. On Wednesday, the makers announced the film's title as Janaki Jaane and released a first-look poster featuring the two leads. It is the second production venture of S Cube Films, the banner that backed the Parvathy-starrer Uyare.

From the first look of Janaki Jaane, it looks like Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup are playing a married couple in it. Last year, the two were seen as a couple in VK Prakash's Oruthee as well.

Janaki Jaane also stars Sharafudheen and Johny Antony in prominent roles. The film has cinematography by Syamprakash MS, edits handled by Noufal Abdullah, and music by Kailas Menon.

Navya Nair was last seen in Oruthee, which marked her comeback to Malayalam cinema after almost a decade. Saiju Kurup, on the other hand, has multiple upcoming projects including Bermuda, Pallotti, and Sthanarthi Sreekuttan. A sequel to his 2021 film Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan, in which he plays the titular role, is also in the works.
