Earlier, we had reported that actor Saiju Kurup would be headlining an upcoming Malayalam film, Porattu Nadakam. On Monday, actor Manju Warrier released the film's first look poster. 

Late filmmaker Siddique has backed Porattu Nadakam under the banner of Media Universe and Emirates Productions. His former assistant, Noushad Saffron, is directing the film.

Porattu Nadakam is scripted by Suneesh Varanad, who earlier penned the Manju Warrier-starrer Mohanlal and Jayasurya's Eesho. The upcoming film is a satire based on Porattu Nadakam and Kothamooriyattam, some traditional folk art forms practised in North Kerala.

Porattu Nadakam cast also includes Rahul Madhav, Nirmal Palazhy, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Sunil Sukhada, Anil Baby, and Chithra Shenoy among others. Cinematographer Noushad Shereef (Oru Kuprasidha Payyan), music director Rahul Raj and editor Rajesh Rajendran are part of the technical crew.
