Malayalam actor Jayasurya recently took to social media to share the appreciation cricketer Ashwin Ravichandran showered on the former 2022 film John Luther.

In a reel shared by the actor, Ashwin is seen praising the film. “If I am not wrong, it was this actor who came as Zakir in Vasool Raja MBBS. What acting and he plays this passionate police,” Ashwin said. He continued that while on flight he was getting ready to do other cricket related errands, he chanced upon John Luther, which led him to devote two hours of his time to complete the film. “It was gripping and I became a fan of Malayalam films. It was outstanding and I enjoyed it a lot. Please watch it when you have time,” he continued.

Directed by Abhijith Joseph, John Luther is a crime thriller which released to positive reviews. The film also stars Elango Kumaravel, Deepak Parambol, Siddique, among others.

Meanwhile, Jayasurya was last seen in Enthada Saji and is awaiting the release of Kathanar - The Wild Sorcerer.
