The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film Kadhikan, starring Mukesh and Unni Mukundan in the lead roles, released the film's trailer on Thursday. The film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jayaraj. 

The trailer showcases Mukesh as a Kadhaprasangam rhetorician of the bygone era. Having left his art behind, he now lives a different life. However, a teacher, played by Unni Mukundan, seeks him out to request his assistance in teaching one of the students the same art form to make him participate in an art festival.

Kadhikan has its story, screenplay and dialogues penned by Jayaraj himself, and he is also credited as the producer of the film. The film is also co-produced by Dr Manoj Govid under the banner of Wide Screen Media Productions. 

The film also stars Krishnanand and Gopu Krishnan in prominent roles.

The technical team of Kadhikan comprises Shaji Kumar as the cinematographer, Vipin Vishwakarma as the editor and Sanjoy Chowdhury as the music director.
