Vinay Forrt's Vaathil trailer hints at a psychological thriller

Vinay Forrt is headlining Vaathil, a new film directed by Sarju Remakanth. The makers released a 2-minute-long trailer which hints at a psychological thriller. The trailer opens with Vinay Forrt's character narrating about his suicidal tendency. It is soon learnt that he is an unhappy married man living with his wife, played by Anu Sithara, in the same apartment. Krishna Shankar and Merin Philip play the other key characters in the film.

Vaathil, also starring Anjali Nair, Sunil Sugatha, Unniraja, VK Baiju, Sminu Sijo, is scripted by Shamnad Shabeer. Manesh Madhavan, who won the recent Kerala State Film Award for his work in Ela Veezha Poonchira, is the cinematographer. Composer Sejo John and editor Johnkutty are also part of the technical team. The film is produced by Suji K Govindraj under the banner of Spark Pictures, and is slated for release on August 30.
