Praavu, starring Amith Chakalakkal, Sabu Mon Abdusamad, Manoj KU, Adarsh Raja and Yami Sona, is set for release on September 15. Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films will be distributing the film in Kerala. Based on Padmarajan's story, the film is scripted and directed by Navaz Ali.

Praavu also stars Ajayan Thakazhi, Nisha Sarang, Dini Daniel, Tini Sunil, Gayathri Nambiar, and Aleena. PR Rajasekharan is producing the film under the banner of CET Cinema Pvt Ltd. Its technical team comprise cinematographer Antony Jo, music director Bijibal and editor Jovin John.
