We know that actor Nivin Pauly is collaborating with director Vinay Govind for an upcoming Malayalam film titled, Thaaram. The latest update on the film is that music composer Thaman S, who is best known for his works in Tamil and Telugu, has onboarded the project. Listin Stephen, the producer of the film, announced the news during a media interaction.  

It was in November 2022 that Nivin Pauly's Thaaram went on floors. However, its production got stalled soon after. Initially, music director Rahul Raj was attached to the project, but as Thaman replaces Rahul, it is yet to be known if the initial technical team is still attached to the film.  

There were speculations about the makers dropping the project entirely. However, Nikhila Vimal, who was supposed to play one of the female leads, recently revealed that its production would likely resume in September. 

Thaaram has a script that Vinay co-wrote with Vivek Ranjit. Along with Nivin and Nikhila, the original cast also had Vinay Forrt, Pathonpatham Noottandu fame Kayadu Lohar and Krishna Sankar.
