Malayalam actor Kailas Nath passes away 

The actor succumbed to death in a Private hospital in Kochi

Actor Kailas Nath who is best known for his roles in films and television soaps passed away on Thursday. He was 65 years old. The actor succumbed to death in a Private hospital in Kochi. He had been undergoing treatment for non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis for the past couple of months. 

Actor Seema G Nair shared the news of the actor's demise through her social media handle. Taking to social media, she wrote, " Popular actor Kailas Nath passed away. Condolences." 

The actor made his debut in 1999 with the film, Sangamam. Popular feature credits of the actors include Yugapurushan, Etho Oru Swapnam and Thamasoma Jyothirgamaya, and Oru Thalai Ragam, among others. 

Last rites will be held on Friday
