Director Jithu Madhavan, who made a blockbuster debut earlier this year with Romancham, has tied the knot with his assistant Shifina Babin Pakker. The two got married in a low-key ceremony held in Bangalore. It was attended by filmmakers Anwar Rasheed, Sameer Thahir, actors Sajin Gopu, Naveen Nazim, and costume designer Mashar Hamza.

Jithu Madhavan's sophomore film, speculated to be titled Aavesham, is produced jointly by Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed. It is said to be a Bangalore-based campus entertainer starring Fahadh and a bunch of lesser-known young actors. Fahadh is reportedly playing a goon's role in the film, which has Sameer Thahir as the cinematographer and Sushin Shyam as the composer.
