The makers of the upcoming Malayalam-disaster-drama-film  2018 released the first single from the film Minnal Minnane on Saturday. Based on the 2018 flash floods that occurred in Kerala and claimed many lives, the film is directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. The film will hit the theatres on May 5. 

Composed by William Francis, Minnal Minnane has lyrics penned by Joe Paul. Shankar Mahadevan has sung the song.

Written by Jude Anthany Joseph, along with Akhil P Dharmajan, the film features an ensemble cast including Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kalaiyarasan, Lal, Narain, Aparna Balamurali, Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Indrans, Gilu Joseph, Jaffer Idukki, Janardhanan, Siddique, Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, and Gauthami Nair.
