Jude Anthany Joseph's Kerala floods-based film, 2018, is set to hit screens on May 5. The makers, meanwhile, plan to release the first single, Minnal Minnane, on Saturday. Noble Paul is composing the film's music.

2018 has a huge star cast comprising Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kalaiyarasan, Lal, Narain, Aparna Balamurali, Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Indrans, Gilu Joseph, Jaffer Idukki, Janardhanan, Siddique, Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, and Gauthami Nair.

2018 is scripted by Jude along with Akhil P Dharmajan. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Akhil George, editor Chaman Chakko and production designer Mohandas. The film is produced by Venu Kunnappilly, CK Padmakumar, and Anto Joseph.
