We earlier reported that actors Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup are starring in a film called Janaki Jaane. The latest update is that the film is set to release on May 12. 

The upcoming film is written and directed by Aniesh Upaasana. The previously released teaser shows Shaiju Kurup playing a character called Unni Mukundan, a sub-contractor who has earned a good name in the village. And Navya's character seems to be dealing with fear concern. Janaki Jaane is produced by sisters Shenuga, Shegna and Sherga under the banner of SCube Films. The film marks the second production of the banner after Parvathy Thiruvoth starrer Uyare. Janaki Jaane also stars Sharafudheen and Johny Antony in prominent roles. The technical team includes cinematographer Syamprakash MS, editor Noufal Abdullah and music composer Kailas Menon.
