Prithviraj Sukumaran recalls Mamukoya's performance in Kuruthi

Following the demise of Mamukoya, many celebrities from the Malayalam film industry have expressed their tribute to the veteran actor. One of them is Prithviraj Sukumaran. He took to his social media handle to pen a heartfelt note. 

He wrote, "Rest in peace Maamukkoya sir! Had the absolute privilege of sharing screen space with you multiple times. But to see you unleash Moosa in Kuruthi at such close quarters will be a memory that I cherish forever! (sic) It may be noted that Kuruthi is the socio-political directed by Manu Warrier. 

The veteran Malayalam actor Mamukoya passed away in Kozhikode on Wednesday. He was 76. 

On Monday, the actor, who attended the inauguration of a football tournament in Malappuram, collapsed after he expressed some discomfort. He was then rushed to the nearest hospital and later shifted to a private hospital in Kozhikode. He reportedly suffered cardiac arrest and brain haemorrhage and was put on ventilator support. After his health condition deteriorated, he breathed his last on Tuesday.
