Actor Unni Lalu's next is titled Kattis Gang

The film will be directed by debutant Aneel Dev and is backed by Subhash Raghuram Sukumaran under the banner of Oceanic Movies

Unni Lalu, who is best known for Vincy Sony Aloshious, headlined Rekha and  Jithin Issac Thomas's directorial Pra. Thoo. Mu., in the Malayalam anthology film Freedom Fight, is joining hands with the debutant filmmaker Aneel Dev for an upcoming Malayalam film. The film is titled Kattis Gang, followed by a tagline, Friends own Aanakkatti.  

The film launched with a Pooja ceremony on Sunday at Anchumana temple in Ernakulam, Kerala. Kattis Gang is backed by Subhash Raghuram Sukumaran under the banner of Oceanic Movies. Billed to be a comedy-family-entertainer, the film also stars Althaf Salim, Sajin Cherukayil, Swathi Das Prabhu and Varun Dhara in prominent roles. 

Penned by Raj Karthi, Kattis Gang's music will be composed by Bijibal. The technical crew of the film comprises Nikhil V Narayanan behind the camera and Riyas K Badhar as the editor. 

Meanwhile, Unni Lalu's performance in Rekha has gained a lot of appreciation. Despite its dismal run at the theatres, the film has gained broad traction ever since its ott streaming. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
