Raveesh Nath, the co-writer of Jo and Jo and the upcoming film 18+, is turning director with Samadhana Pusthakam. The film was launched on Wednesday with a pooja ceremony. It stars a bunch of newcomers in the leads, which includes Kalabhavan Shajohn's son Yohan. Rabeesh, Dhanush, Irfan, Meenakshi, Trinity and Mahima are the other debutants in the cast. Established actors like Siju Wilson, Leona Lishoy, Prashanth Alexander, Meghanathan and VK Sreeraman also star in it.

Samadhana Pusthakam is scripted by Raveesh, Jo and Jo director Arun D Jose and Sivan CP. Cinematographer Satheesh Kurup is debuting as a producer with this film. He is backing it along with the banner Sigma Stories. While Satheesh also handles the camera, music and editing will be done by Manikandan Ayyappa and Chaman Chakko, respectively.
