Corona Papers team celebrates success with Mohanlal

The makers of Corona Papers had a brief success celebration on Wednesday. Mohanlal took part in the cake-cutting along with the film's lead actors Shane Nigam and Siddique. Director Priyadarshan was notably absent. Expressing his delight at the film's success, Mohanlal said, "I've been hearing a lot of good things about the film. In Priyan's absence, I would like to congratulate all the team members who put in their best of efforts for the film."

Corona Papers, which hit screens on April 6, is the official remake of the Tamil film 8 Thottakkal. Priyadarshan has adapted the script based on the story penned by original director Sri Ganesh. While Shane Nigam plays the lead role of a cop, Gayathrie Shankar is paired opposite him. Shine Tom Chacko, Jean Paul Lal, Sandhya Shetty, PP Kunhikrishnan, Maniyanpilla Raju, and Vijilesh also star in it. Vineeth Sreenivasan also makes a cameo appearance.

Bankrolled by Four Frames Sound Company, the technical team of Corona Papers includes cinematographer Divakar Mani and editor Ayyappan.
