Jude Anthany Joseph's 2018 release postponed to this date

The upcoming Malayalam multi-starrer film 2018 has been postponed to May 5, and the film was earlier slated for a release on April 21. Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, the film is based on the 2018 flash floods that occurred in Kerala and claimed many lives. 

2018 has an ensemble star cast led by Tovino Thomas, Narain, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kalaiyarasan, Lal, and Aparna Balamurali. Scripted by director Jude along with Akhil P Dharmajan, 2018 also stars Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Indrans, Gilu Joseph, Jaffer Idukki, Janardhanan, Siddique, Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, and Gauthami Nair, among others.

The upcoming project's technical crew includes cinematographer Akhil George, Chaman Chacko composing the music, and Nobin Paul handling the edits. The film is produced by Venu Kunnappilly, CK Padmakumar, and Anto Joseph.
