Sajid Yahiya's new directorial got launched on Thursday. Backed by Vijay Babu's Friday Film House, it is said to be the revival of the earlier-announced film, Qalb. The project was originally announced with Shane Nigam as the lead, but due to various reasons, it was put on hold. We now hear that the makers have got Ranjith Sajeev and Neha Nazneen to lead the film. The former is noted for his role in Mike, which also starred Anaswara Rajan.

Along with Ranjith and Neha, the upcoming film also stars a bunch of newcomers in key roles. Veterans Siddique and Lena are also part of the cast. Sajid has penned the story, which is billed as a romantic tale set in the backdrop of Alappuzha beach. The technical crew includes cinematographer Sharon Sreenivas, editor Amal Manoj, costume designer Sameera Saneesh and production designer Anees Nadodi. Prakash Alex, Vimal and Nihal handle the music.
