It's a wrap for Mammootty's Kannur Squad

The film marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj

The shoot for Mammootty's upcoming film Kannur Squad got wrapped up on Thursday in Wayanad. The team shot the film across Kerala, Coimbatore, Pune, Mumbai, Mangalore, Belgaum, and parts of Uttar Pradesh. It is backed by Mammootty's home production banner Mammootty Kampany.  

Billed as an investigation thriller, Kannur Squad marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj. Its story is written by Muhammed Shafi, who also shares screenplay credits with actor Rony David Raj. Mammootty reportedly plays the role of an ASI in the film.

Shabareesh Varma, Azeez Nedumangad, Rony David, Deepak Parambol, Sajin Cherukayil, and Gibin Gopinath also star in the film. The technical crew includes cinematographer Muhammed Rahil, composer Sushin Shyam, and editor Praveen Prabhakar.
