On Thursday, producer Vijay Babu announced his production banner Firday Film House's 20th project. Taking to his social media handle, he shared the pooja ceremony pictures from the film set. He wrote, "Delighted to announce the start of our 20th production venture along with a set of talented newcomers . Directed by Sajid Yahiya." (sic)

Sajid Yahiya made his directorial debut with IDI - Inspector Dawood Ibrahim (2016). He then went on to direct a film titled Mohanlal (2018). It may be noted that he earlier announced a film titled Qalb starring Shane Nigam, which did not take off. Now, the reports speculate that the director has revived the project with a new set of cast, crew and production banner. However, the official announcement about the cast and crew is yet to be made.
