We had earlier reported about Vineeth Sreenivasan headlining a film titled Kurukkan. It is directed by Jayalal Divakaran, and produced by Maha Subair under the banner of Varnachithra Productions. On Saturday, the makers shared its first look. The poster features Vineeth, his father Sreenivasan and Shine Tom Chacko. It seems like Vineeth is playing a cop's role in the film.

Kurukkan marks the comeback of veteran Sreenivasan, who has been battling health issues lately. He previously acted with Vineeth in films like Makante Achan and Padmasree Bharat Dr Saroj Kumar. They last acted together in Aravindante Athidhikal (2018).

Kurukkan is scripted by Manoj Ram Singh. Shruthi Jayan, Sudheer Karamana, Malavika Menon, Ansiba Hassan, Gowri Nanda, Srikant Murali, Balaji Sharma and Azeez Nedumangad also star in it. The film has cinematography by Jibu Jacob, music by Unni Elayaraja and edits handled by Ranjan Abraham.
