Malavika Mohanan is making her comeback to Malayalam cinema with a new film directed by debutant Alvin Henry. Also starring Mathew Thomas, this yet-to-titled film got launched on Wednesday with a customary pooja ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram.

The upcoming film, set in Poovar, tells the story of a teenager and his infatuation. Alvin Henry has penned the story and screenplay is written jointly by popular novelists GR Indugopan and Benyamin. Joy Mathew, Rajesh Madhavan, Vineeth Vishwam, Sminu Sijo, Veena Nair, Manju Pathrose and Muthumani are part of the supporting cast.

Anend C Chandran, noted for his works in Premam and Bheeshma Parvam, has been signed as the cinematographer. Govind Vasantha will be composing the music and edits will be handled by Manu Antony. It is jointly produced by Sajai Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan under the banner of Rocky Mountain Cinemas.
