Release of Alphonse Puthren-Prithviraj Sukumaran's Gold postponed

The release of Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Gold has been delayed by one week, director Alphonse Puthren announced on Thursday. He wrote, "Due to work delay on our side, "Gold" will be releasing one week after Onam. Please forgive us for the delay caused. Hoping to compensate this delay through our work when "Gold" releases.

Initially, Gold was supposed to release on September 8, marking the Onam festivity. 

The film also starring Nayanthara in the lead role is produced by Magic Frames and Prithviraj Productions. It also features Lalu Alex, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinay Forrt, Jagadish, Baburaj, Shine Tom Chacko, Prem Kumar, Mallika Sukumaran, Shammi Thilakan, Deepti Sathi, Shanti Krishna, and Roshan Mathew among others.

Gold has music by Rajesh Murukesan, and cinematography by Anend C Chandran and Viswajith Odukathil.
