Suresh Gopi-starrer Paappan, which hit big screens on July 29, is set for its OTT release. The film is slated to be released on Zee5 on September 7. Upon its theatrical release, the film emerged as a big success at the box office.

Directed by Joshiy, Paappan is a crime thriller in which Suresh Gopi played a cop's role. The film also had him sharing screen with his son Gokul Suresh for the first time. Nyla Usha, Neeta Pillai, Kaniha, Asha Sarath, Chandhunaadh, Vijayaraghavan, Tini Tom, Janaradhanan, Shammi Thilakan, and Binu Pappu, also essayed other integral roles in the film.

Scripted by RJ Shaan, Paappan has Ajay David Kachappilly has the cinematographer. Jakes Bejoy is the composer, and Shyam Sasidharan has edited the film. It is produced by David Kachappilly.
