The trailer of Khedda, the upcoming film starring Asha Sharath, her daughter Uthara and Sudev Nair, was released recently. 

The trailer features Asha as a middle-aged married woman who yearns to be loved and cared for. A few glimpses from the trailer suggests thrilling and mysterious elements.

Khedda also features Asha and Uthara as mother and daughter on screen for the first time. Directed by the Kerala State Award-winner Manoj Kana, Khedda is produced by Benzy Nazar under the Benzy Productions banner. The film also stars Sudheer Karamana, Sarayu and Jolly Chirayath in pivotal roles.

Filmmaker Manoj Kana previously directed Amoeba and Chayilyam. As part of the film's promotions, Asha, who is also a dancer, has been performing a hook-dance sequence of the Aniyarayil song from the film as part of an Instagram reel challenge.
