Jude Anthany Joseph has completed the shoot of 2018, his upcoming film based on the devastating 2018 Kerala floods. The director took to social media to share a note thanking his producers and all the cast and crew members.

The film, originally titled 2403 ft, went on floors in 2019, but got shelved in its nascent stages due to various reasons. It later got revamped with a new set of actors and technicians.

2018, scripted by Jude and Akhil P Dharmajan, has a stellar star cast comprising Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Tanvi Ram, Kalaiyarasan, Sshivada, Narain, Lal, Indrans, Aju Varghese, and Gauthami Nair. The film has Akhil George, Chaman Chacko, and Nobin Paul handling the cinematography, editor and music director, respectively.

Venu Kunnappilly, CK Padmakumar, and Anto Joseph are jointly producing the film.
