Soubin Shahir and Arjun Ashokan have joined the cast of Guppy and Ambili filmmaker John Paul George's production Romancham, scripted by and directed by debutant Jithu Madhavan.

The project is said to be a horror-comedy. Sameer Thahir handles photography; Kiran Das will edit.

Jithu previously worked as John Paul George's assistant director on Guppy. Romancham also has Soubin Shahir and cinematographer Girish Gangadharan as producers, with composer Sushin Shyam and Annam John Paul as co-producers.

Meanwhile, John Paul, who last directed Ambili with Soubin, has lined up Mariyam Tailors, with Kunchacko Boban, as his next possible directing vehicle.
