It has been announced that Pada will be having its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 30.

The film, written and directed by Kamal KM, is based on a real-life incident that transpired in the '90s when four men identifying themselves as Ayyankali Pada took an IAS officer hostage. It was done as a mark of protest against the then newly-implemented Kerala Scheduled Tribes (Regulation on Transfer of Lands and Restoration of Alienated Lands) Amendment Act, 1996.

Pada stars Kunchacko Boban, Joju George, Vinayakan, and Dileesh Pothan. Upon its theatrical release on March 10, the film was opened to positive response from the critics as well as the common audience.
