As Paappan was released in theatres on Friday, actor Suresh Gopi urged people to refrain from sharing spoilers.

The actor took to his social media handle to make the request. He wrote, “#Paappan is all yours by now! A humble alert to all of you to restrain from sharing spoilers by any means. Kindly let us know your genuine feedbacks and please don't let others spoil their experience!”

The film is directed by Joshiy and will see Suresh Gopi reuniting with the director after 22 years since their last collaboration in Vazhunnor. The actor plays a senior police officer in the crime thriller. Paappan also has Suresh Gopi’s son Gokul Suresh sharing the screen with him for the first time.

The film also stars Nyla Usha as the female lead, with Sunny Wayne, Neeta Pillai, Kaniha, Asha Sarath Vijayaraghavan, Tini Tom, Janaradhanan, Shammi Thilakan, Binu Pappu, and Chandu Nath, in pivotal roles.

Written by RJ Shaan, Paappan is Joshiy's next to Porinju Mariam Jose, starring Joju George and Nyla. David Kachappilly, who produced Porinju, is backing Paappan too. The film’s technical crew includes Cinematographer Ajay David Kachappilly, who shot Porinju, music composer Jakes Bejoy and editor Shyam Sasidharan.
