Mohanlal, Priyadarshan film Olavum Theeravum wrapped up

It is part of the upcoming Netflix anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair's stories

As reported earlier by us, Mohanlal and Priyadarshan are teaming up for a segment in the upcoming Netflix anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair's stories. The segment Olavaum Theeravum is a retelling of the 1970 classic of the same name, directed by PN Menon. MT Vasudevan Nair scripted the film based on his story of the same title, which was published in 1957.

In Priyadarshan's film, Mohanlal is playing the lead role of Bapputty, essayed by Madhu in the original film. Durga Krishna (Vimaanam, Udal) is the female lead. Hareesh Peradi and Mammukoya are essaying other major roles. Santosh Sivan is the cameraman, and Sabu Cyril handles the production design.

The upcoming anthology also has films directed by Santosh Sivan, Shyamaprasad, Rathish Ambat, and MT Vasudevan Nair's daughter, Aswathy V Nair. There also reports about Lijo Jose Pellisery and Mahesh Narayanan helming a segment each, but it is not yet confirmed.
