Post the success of Varane Avshayamund, director Anoop Sathyan has been working on a few ideas but he is yet to make an official announcement about his next. Meanwhile, his twin brother Akhil Sathyan has hinted about Anoop's next project with a cryptic social media post. It said, 'Anoop is working on a super interesting scaled-up film and is about to cast one of India’s ever-favourite actors on screen with the complete actor'.

Mohanlal is popularly called the 'complete actor', so speculations about him teaming up with Anoop Sathyan have already begun. An official word regarding the same is still awaited.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal is busy shooting for Olavum Theeravum, a segment in the upcoming Netflix anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair's stories. He has the Shaji Kailas directorial Alone lined up for release. His directorial debut Barroz is also in the halfway stage.
