We had reported earlier that Helen co-writer Alfred Kurian Joseph will be making his directorial debut. The film, titled Philip's, has commenced production.

Noble Babu Thomas (Helen) and Mukesh are essaying the main leads. Innocent, Navani Devanand and Quinn Vibin also star in it.

Mathukutty Xavier, who directed Helen, has penned the screenplay along with Alfred.

Jaison Jacob John is behind the camera and Hesham Abdul Wahab (Hridayam) is composing the music. Nidhin Raj Arol handles the edits.

Suvin K Varkey and Prasobh Krishna are jointly producing the film under the banner of Little Big Films.
